When You Care Enough About Service, You Build a System

The Four Jobs That GROW a Home Service Business, by Robert Earl

Is your business growing the way it should?

You're good at the work. Your customers say so, your crews know it, and you'd put your craftsmanship up against anybody's in town. So why is the guy down the street busier?

After more than twenty years of watching home service companies from both sides of the phone, Robert Earl has seen the answer again and again. Growing a home service business isn't one job. It's four, and when any one of them belongs to nobody, the work that should be yours goes somewhere else.

The GROW chart from the book: Getting Found, Reply/Follow Up, Operations and Word of Mouth

In this book you'll find

  • GROW, the four jobs every home service business runs: Getting Found, Reply/Follow Up, Operations and Word of Mouth
  • The six headwinds that keep good owners from being chosen, and why you can't see them from the roof
  • Simple ways to make sure every call, text and form gets a fast answer
  • One page a week that shows whether your system is working, all the way to actual deposits in the bank
  • True stories from Robert's own life, from the Air Force Honor Guard to an award-winning agent to co-founder of a marketing agency for home service companies

Today he and his wife Stacy run Home Service Guild.
