Lead generation for home service companies
A roofer's phone rings nonstop for two weeks after a hailstorm and then goes nearly silent through the winter. A pest control company hears from new customers all spring and from almost nobody in November. Every trade has a rhythm like that, and the marketing should follow it.
Lead generation means bringing in new inquiries: the calls, forms and messages from homeowners who might hire you. Our search, AI answer and ad services each bring in some of them. This service is the plan that ties those channels together. It decides which channels fit your trade, how they shift through the year, and how each one is judged by the jobs it books.
Takes a minute. Our team will get back to you.
What a lead generation plan covers
- Where your new customers come from today, broken down by source
- Which channels fit your trade, your towns and the work you want more of
- How spending and effort shift with the seasons
- Which marketplace and directory listings are worth keeping
- One regular view of inquiries and booked jobs from every source
Choosing the mix for your trade and season
Repair trades that live on urgent calls need to be found the moment something breaks. That points toward search, the Google Business Profile and Google Ads. Trades that sell planned, visible projects get more from showing their work, which gives Facebook and Instagram a bigger role. Most companies need some of each.
The balance also moves with the calendar. An HVAC company's plan for the first heat wave of summer looks different from its plan for a mild April. We set the mix with you and change it as the seasons turn.
Judging every source by booked jobs
A source can look busy and still lose money. A marketplace site might send a steady stream of inquiries that rarely become work, while a few referrals fill a week. We count each source by the jobs it books and what those jobs cost to win, and the budget moves toward the sources that earn it. That count only works when every inquiry lands in one list with its source attached, which is part of our lead follow-up service.
Past customers and referrals in the plan
Some of the least expensive new inquiries come from people who already know your work. A plan that looks only at ads and search misses the neighbor who heard about you over the fence. We count referrals and returning customers as a source and track them next to the paid channels. Our after-the-job follow-up keeps that source producing.
How the plan runs day to day
We set up and run the channels in the plan and train your office online to read the numbers. Every ad, analytics and listing account is set up under your business. The plan sits alongside all our services, so you can see what each part contributes.

Questions owners ask
How is lead generation different from running ads?
Ads are one channel. Lead generation is the plan that decides which channels you use, how much each one gets and when. It also includes the free channels, such as your Google Business Profile and referrals.
Should I pay for leads from marketplace sites?
Some companies book good work through them, and others get inquiries that rarely turn into jobs. We track marketplace leads like any other source. If a marketplace books jobs at a cost that makes sense to you, we keep it in the plan.
What do you need from me to build the plan?
We need the work you want more of, the towns you serve, your busy and slow seasons, and whatever you know about where past customers found you. Job history helps too. If you use field service software such as Housecall Pro, we can pull that history from it.
How often does the plan change?
We review it on a regular schedule and before each busy season, using booked jobs as the measure. A channel that stops earning its share gets less money. One that keeps producing gets more.
Can a plan help with the slow season?
It can show where slow-season work comes from in your trade, such as maintenance plans, indoor projects or past customers due for service. Then it puts effort there ahead of time. A plan cannot create demand that is not there.
